PROJECT: Mountbatten Festival of Music
CLIENT: MOD / OpticalMedia
FORMAT: Large Multi-Camera Music Event
KIT: Sony 3500 / UJ90

A large-scale multi-camera capture of the Royal Marines’ annual spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall, serving both IMAG and a post-produced final edit.

Contributing to the technical build, I was part of the team that rigged the full multi-camera specification across the venue before taking position on Camera 2 (UJ90 box lens). During the show, I was responsible for isolating key details from the rear of the hall, delivering close-ups and ECUs of instruments, soloists, performers and VIPs in the crowd. Operating without a camera script, I relied on the music director's live cues to line up shots with speed and precision.

PROJECT: Rolex Fastnet Race 2025
CLIENT: Royal Ocean Racing Club / OpticalMedia
FORMAT: Live Sports OB
KIT: Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 / UJ90 / Sony FX6/FX3

Live coverage of the start of the historic 100th edition of the Rolex Fastnet Race. Stationed on the Cowes breakwater, I was responsible for the logistical load-in, rigging, and operation of a long-lens camera position (Blackmagic URSA G2 + UJ90) in an exposed coastal environment.

My primary role was delivering detailed close-ups of crews and yacht dynamics during the pre-start maneuvers and the departure around Egypt Point. Despite high winds, I provided stable coverage using the full extent of the lens to track fast-moving vessels. Additionally, I utilised my personal Sony FX6 and FX3 kit to light and shoot two-camera interviews with competitors for insert packages within the main show.

PROJECT: BSGE AGM London 2025 Promo
CLIENT: The British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy
FORMAT: Destination Corporate Marketing Promo
KIT: Sony FX6 / FX3

A presenter-led campaign promoting London as the host city for the 2025 AGM. Operating as a Shooting PD with my own Sony FX6 and FX3 package, I executed a complex schedule across the capital to showcase the destination and the QEII conference venue.

A key challenge involved filming contributors within active hospital environments. I managed tight logistical windows, lighting and shooting in confined clinical spaces with a rapid rig/de-rig to minimise disruption while maintaining high production values. Additionally, I captured atmospheric ground-level b-roll of London landmarks to complement licensed aerials, and directed the technical execution of multiple on-location pieces to camera with the presenter.

PROJECT: Phoebe & Sam Cinematic Wedding Film
CLIENT: Private Client
FORMAT: Wedding Highlights Video
KIT: Sony FX6 / FX3 / A7S III

A premium, cinematic highlight film capturing the full wedding timeline at The Oak Tree Barn.

Using a matched Sony Cinema Line package (FX6 & FX3), I prioritised high-end production value with a minimal footprint. The edit combines precise multi-camera management for the ceremony and speeches with composed, slow-motion cinematography for the reception and couple sequences. The focus was on delivering a polished, filmic aesthetic while remaining discreet and non-intrusive throughout the day.

PROJECT: Progress Flying School Showcase
CLIENT: Progress Flying School / Flying Reporter Productions
FORMAT: Promotional Film
KIT: Sony FX6 / FX3

A promotional campaign for a flight school anchored by a 1+1 interview with aviation content creator 'The Flying Reporter' at Wycombe Air Park.

I conducted this shoot with my FX6 and FX3 kits for the ground-based elements, lighting and shooting a three-camera interview setup to provide the narrative backbone of the film. To visualise the training experience, I captured stylised b-roll of the aircraft fleet and detailed coverage of the student pre-flight procedures. In post-production, I wove these cinematic ground sequences together with in-cockpit multi-cam footage to create a seamless story of a typical flying lesson.

PROJECT: Passenger Journey Showcase
CLIENT: London City Airport / Optical Media
FORMAT: Digital Brand Assets - Website
KIT: Sony FX3

A series of high-end cinematic sequences designed for the airport’s digital platforms and website headers to showcase the modernized passenger journey.

Operating as a solo shooter with a mobile Sony FX3 gimbal package, I executed a "landside-to-airside" visual journey. The brief required fluid, stabilised movement to mirror the speed and ease of the London City experience. I captured the complete transit narrative, from the DLR station integration and updated terminal retail units, through to the departure gates, delivering polished, slow-motion beauty shots suitable for looping web backgrounds.

PROJECT: Funds Europe Awards 2025
CLIENT: StrayCat Communications
FORMAT: Event Sizzle
KIT: Sony FX6 / FX3

A prestigious finance industry awards ceremony held at the Hilton Bankside.

I executed a hybrid shooting workflow to deliver comprehensive coverage of the evening. Using my Sony FX6 package, I managed a fixed "step-and-repeat" interview station, lighting and capturing soundbites with winners and VIP stakeholders against the media wall. This was balanced with roaming coverage using my mobile FX3 gimbal package, where I captured cinematic b-roll of the networking reception and ceremony atmosphere to showcase the scale and energy of the event.

PROJECT: Aviation Fire Extinguisher Safety Demonstration
CLIENT: Flying Reporter Productions
FORMAT: Specialist Package-Style Demonstration Video
KIT: Sony FX30, BlackMagic URSA, Sony A7S III

A practical safety feature and educational piece demonstrating the effectiveness of various types of aviation fire extinguishers on real fuel fires.

Operating with three cameras, I was responsible for capturing live, unscripted demonstrations that could not be easily reset. This required precise, reactive operating to safely follow the action while maintaining a focus on the fire suppression technique. I balanced wide "safety" framing with tight detail shots of the equipment operation, ensuring the visual narrative was captured cleanly to minimise the use of consumables. The shoot also included several handheld pieces to camera to help bridge between contributors.
