Recent Editing Work Examples
PROJECT: The Whoniverse Show
CLIENT: BBC Studios
FORMAT: Digital Companion Series
A studio-based companion piece for the Doctor Who franchise, bringing news and exclusive interviews to the fanbase.
This is a multi-episode series that I have been working on since its inception. The episodes require seamlessly piecing together multi-camera presenter links and guest interview segments with on-location packages, licensed show clips, dynamic graphics, music and SFX, and pacing for humour and excitement to maximise fan engagement.
The show is distributed on the Doctor Who Official youtube channel.
PROJECT: Funds Europe 2025
CLIENT: StrayCat Communications
FORMAT: Event Sizzle
A dynamic highlights package for a major awards ceremony within the hedge fund industry, designed to capture the energy of the evening.
This edit blends atmospheric event b-roll with stage footage from IMAG cameras to tell the story of the evening. I integrated winner and stakeholder interviews to reinforce the client's key messaging, creating a "call to action" for potential entrants to next year’s ceremony.
PROJECT: Cockpit Fire Extinguisher Safety
CLIENT: Flying Reporter Productions
FORMAT: Hosted Specialist Content for YouTube
A deep-dive educational piece for the general aviation community, analysing real-world flight risks and safety procedures.
This project required a "broadcast package" approach to digital content. The edit involved syncing and switching multiple GoPro angles within a cockpit environment, combining pieces to camera with detailed interviews from contributors and hard-hitting real-world demonstrations of cockpit safety procedures.
The narrative was strictly paced to maintain high viewer retention while delivering complex safety information effectively and maintaining the channel’s existing format and style.
PROJECT: Juice Season 2
CLIENT: BBC Three / BBC Studios
FORMAT: Behind the Scenes Shoulder Content
High-energy shoulder content promoting Season 2 of the BBC comedy Juice, featuring creator Mawan Rizwan.
This project involved repurposing diverse 16:9 source material, including behind-the-scenes interviews, set tour footage, and clips from the final show, into fast-paced 9:16 vertical edits optimised for BBC and BBC Three TikTok accounts and adding subtitles and licensed music.
I focused on identifying strong comedic hooks to capture immediate attention, reframing shots for vertical composition, and maintaining a rhythmic edit that translated Mawan's unique humour and personality to a social-first audience.
PROJECT: Flat Floor Showcase
CLIENT: Eventim Apollo - Hammersmith
FORMAT: Venue Showcase Promo
A high-octane, music-driven B2B promotional tool designed to market the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith's versatile "flat floor" configuration to prospective corporate and event clients.
Relying purely on visual storytelling, I combined atmospheric coverage of a live comedy show and food stalls with expansive and varied wider shots of the architecture. The edit uses dynamic pacing to capture the energy of the night while repeatedly anchoring the viewer in the physical scale of the room, demonstrating its flexibility for a wide range of possible use cases for events.
PROJECT: AGM London 2025 Promo
CLIENT: The British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy
FORMAT: Destination Corporate Marketing Promo
A presenter-led campaign film designed to drive international attendance for the Annual General Meeting of the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy by showcasing London as a premier host city.
This production served a dual purpose: promoting the prestige of the event and the appeal of the destination. I combined on-location presenter links at the QEII Centre and various other London locations and practitioner interviews with a combination of self-shot B-Roll and cinematic stock drone footage of London landmarks that I sourced and licensed. The edit utilised motion graphics and a persuasive narrative structure to highlight the venue's proximity to Westminster and other appealing landmarks around London, effectively selling the experience of attending in person.
